Matt Cutts: Gadgets, Google, and SEO is a personal blog of Matt Cutts. He is well known in the SEO community for enforcing the Google Webmaster Guidelines and cracking down on link spam. Cutts also advises the public on how to get better website visibility in Google as well as webmaster issues in general, and is generally an outspoken and public face of Google.

Founded in September 2006 by Sven Lennartz and Vitaly Friedman, Smashing Magazine is a website and blog that offers resources and advice to web developers and web designers. Smashing Magazine evaluates software, applications, and web-based tools that are targeted at web designers and developers, and publishes tutorials and how-tos on design and development. Smashing Magazine also offers free fonts, icons, and templates for download, as well as showcasing other things of importance to the web development community, such as HTTP 404 error page designs.

The Official Google Blog

The Official Google Blog first realesed at April 2004 with their first post to the users. With The Official Google Blog, you'll get full of helpful tips and news from Googlers into their products, technology, and the Google culture.

In October 2006, everyone has a suprise that the blog of this multi-billion dollar company has been hacked with a very odd post that suggested they were cancelling their click-to-call service (see the captured picture below.) The post was at googleblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/google-click-to-call-project-cancelled.html, although it has been removed. Even though the blog post was quickly taken down, a number of people saw it on the blog or in their RSS readers.
