So Much Pileup

So Much Pileup is a blog started by Mike Davis, a graphic designer living and working in Minneapolis MN, to share some of the work from his collection that's inspired from the late 1960s through the early 1980s.

I'll be posting logos, postage stamps, motion graphics, packaging and promotional design from the time I consider to be the golden era of graphic design, just before computers took over and anyone with a copy of Photoshop and 10 fonts started calling themselves designers.

Advertising Lab is a blog about the future of advertising and advertising technology, launched in 2004 by Ilya Vedrashko. Vedrashko works as an emerging media strategist at Hill, Holliday ad agency in Boston. Have graduated from MIT in August 2006 with an MSc in comparative media studies.

Cute Overload is a weblog consisting of photos and videos of cute animals. The site was created by Megan Frost. On May 2, 2010, it was ranked #605 in the most influential English blog list compiled by Technorati[1], #11,459 in Alexa's "World Traffic Ranking" and, according to Quantcast, it receives an average of 41,300 visits per day.

Cute Overload won the 2006 Webby Awards "People's Voice" honors in the blog category, the 2007 Bloggies for Best American Weblog, and the 2009 "Weblog Awards" winner as "Best Topical Weblog".
